Nicolas Rongier was born in France, after studying biology; he turned to photography by becoming a set assistant at the Rouchon studio in Paris for nine years.
Following this experience, which served as an apprenticeship, he launched himself as a culinary photographer and also specialised in portraiture.
He has worked notably for chef Anne Sophie Pic and Le Cordon Bleu international cooking school and chocolatier Arnaud Larher.
Since 2018, he has broadened his activity to include reportage, particularly on the major themes of protest in our civil society.
